History
- 1964 Founding of Vosswinkel in Hagen by Dipl.Ing. Karl-Heinz Vosswinkel
- 1970 Establishment of trade relations with the machine tool industry in the former GDR
- 1988 Dipl.Ing. Heiner Ewers joins the company as a second partner
- 1991 Founding of Vosswinkel Elektroautomation GmbH in Aschersleben and move into own production facility
- 1994 Entry into the North American market with controls for spinning machines based on Fanuc CNC.
- 1995 Introduction of the first spinning machine control with CNC Sinumerik 840D with exhibition at EMO in Milan.
- 1998 Dipl.Ing. Frank Förster joins the management of Elektroautomation
- 2002 Patent granted for “Method for manufacturing roll contours”
- 2003 Founder Karl-Heinz Vosswinkel transfers his shares and management of the company to Dipl.Ing. Michael Schuricht and Dipl.Ing. Carsten Heringhaus
- 2004 Establishment of business relations in South Africa for retrofitting (especially roll grinding)
- 2010 Conversion of the special applications “grinding” and “pressing” to the new Sinumerik 840D solution line control generation
- 2014 To mark its 50th anniversary, the Hagen site moves to new premises. The new company building in Sprockhövel was designed and built specifically to meet the company’s requirements
- 2016 First use of the newly developed RABEA for automating wheel set machining for trams and Deutsche Bahn
- 2018 Following the sudden death of our partner Frank Förster, Matthias Walter takes over the management of the new Vosswinkel Aschersleben GmbH
- 2021 Introduction of the new Sinumerik ONE machine tool control system with adaptation of our applications.
