The rapid pace of technological development in the field of machine tools means that machine controls, including sensor, measurement, and drive technology, become obsolete after just a few years, making it difficult to obtain spare parts and service for existing controls and drives. At this point, at the latest, you are faced with the decision of whether to replace the machine with a new one or to modernize it by overhauling the mechanical components and replacing the drive, control, and measurement technology.

By retrofitting or upgrading various technologically advanced elements and assemblies, existing systems are brought up to date, while the units of a system or machine that are still functional are retained.
